KYU II

KYU II is an alternative version of the elegant signature KOIBITO. The reimagining of a still pond filled with a transcendent and divine school of koi that float upon a reflection of the night sky. The mirroring of the starry sky creates an ethereal sentiment correlating to the revelation of deep emotions hidden within ourselves. The gliding koi fish holds an intrinsic beauty that stirs the emotions within us. The interstellar backdrop of the lake gives prominence to the vibrant colours of its nine inhabitants. The nine beings that float on this celestial bed each possess an aura of divine calmness.

An array of different patterned Koi fish crowd the scene with a mixture of four golden and three silver Koi. However, the stars of the show are the remaining two koi that both possess a single red dot upon each of their heads. The purely white skin with the red dot in the centre is akin to the colours on the Japanese flag. The name for such a unique pattern is called ‘Tancho’. The special colour scheme is few and far between that boasts a symbol of luck and longevity.
